R&D Product Development

R&D Product Development is the step where every Köni Kimya project starts on a scientific footing. Once the brand goal, target audience and claim list are clear, our expert R&D team begins formulation work with active ingredients selected based on clinical studies from Europe's most prestigious independent laboratories.

Samples developed against texture, fragrance, colour and performance targets are submitted for brand approval; feedback is incorporated into the formula and carried into the next sample round. This loop continues until a version that meets the target claim and stability requirements is approved.

The approved formula is turned into a production recipe together with packaging compatibility and the test plan, so every R&D decision carries directly into manufacturing under ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 GMP standards.

Thanks to our strong R&D centre, brands can own their own registered formulations and manage registered, patented product development at home and abroad under Köni Kimya's assurance.
